“Coach Cal is a great coach,” Collins told 247Sports. “I watched the NBA bubble and saw how well-developed all the former Wildcats were and the huge impact they had on their teams. For the NBA being my all-time dream, I feel he will be able to develop me to be ready for the next level.”
Collins is the second player to commit to Kentucky this week.
The other was Bryce Hopkins, a 6-foot-7 four-star forward from Oak Park, Ill., who is rated as the No. 30 recruit in the country.
