The scuba diver collected rubbish that was over a century old, including a a beer bottle from 1910 and a Coca Cola can from the 1960s or 70s.
He also picked up food packaging, milk containers, a pair of binoculars, beer bottles and cans, hats, plastic red cups and a lot of soft plastics.
The conservationist said he wanted to show how much single-use plastic ends up in the ocean.
‘Only about 25 per cent of the rubbish actually stays on the surface,’ he said.
‘So much of the plastic pollution actually sinks down below out of sight, out of mind and it could be here for weeks, months years, even decades.
‘Stop plastic pollution getting into the ocean, [cut] it off at the source.’

The plastic collected from the sea floor will go into bottles created by sustainable company Zero Co, which turns recycled materials into refillable dispensers for laundry and beauty products.
The company is trying to raise $50,000 for ocean clean-up charities by donating proceeds from the sale of their products.
8 million tons of plastic is dumped into Australian oceans every year, according to the Australian Marine Conservation Society.
Sea rubbish can be lethal to marine animals, especially plastic bags, fishing lines and ?? ???? balloon strings.
Animals trapped in the pollution die a slow death by suffocation, drowning, choking or starvation.
