It got me thinking, since every season differs, what if I took each of the players stats from the last few years and combined them together to have an even deeper information collection to run our numbers against. NBA bubble was up and functioning, I had been in basketball heaven, NBA games daily in the center of the summer, starting on a week that I took vacation from work, no better strategy could have occurred. Took two months to complete with every team enjoying 44 games. The top two teams from each group advance to the second round of this Group Phase. In the years I have coached on the District level and observed teams in the outside when not training the 12s, it is frequently fairly clear as to which teams will overachieve and that will fight.
